Selecting the right I/O module requires matching your system requirements. The 1762-IQ32T adds 32 discrete inputs to MicroLogix 1100, 1200, and 1500 controllers. This high-density design reduces the need for multiple smaller modules. It supports both sink and source wiring configurations.

This flexibility simplifies your wiring design and reduces inventory complexity. The module operates on a nominal 24VDC supply. Its voltage range spans from 10 to 30VDC at 30 degrees Celsius. At 60 degrees Celsius, the range adjusts to 10 to 26.4VDC.

This derating ensures reliable performance in elevated temperatures. The module draws 170 mA from the 5.1VDC backplane. It draws zero current from the 24VDC backplane. This low power consumption reduces strain on your system power supply.

Proper installation ensures long-term reliability and safety. Always remove power before handling the module to prevent damage. Avoid electrostatic discharge by grounding yourself properly. Mount the module on a standard DIN rail for secure placement.
