The Allen-Bradley 1794-OE4 is a high-density Flex I/O analog output module. This unit delivers precise control signals for industrial automation systems. Engineers use this module to command final control elements like VFDs and valves.

The 1794-OE4 uses pulse width modulation for output conversion. Its conversion rate reaches 1.024 milliseconds for all four channels. This speed ensures responsive control of modulating devices in your process.

The module’s current output accuracy is 0.425% full scale at 25°C. Its voltage output accuracy is 0.133% full scale at the same temperature. These values guarantee high precision for demanding analog control loops.

Temperature drift remains minimal for both output types. Current drift measures 0.0069% full scale per °C. Voltage drift measures 0.0045% full scale per °C. This stability maintains signal integrity across varying thermal conditions.

Each channel supports four output signal ranges. You can select 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA for current loops. For voltage control, choose +/-10 Volts or 0 to 10 Volts. This flexibility covers most industrial actuator requirements.

The module operates reliably from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. It withstands storage temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The unit also handles 5g vibration from 10 to 500 Hz. This ruggedness suits harsh industrial environments.

You need one compatible terminal base for installation. Options include the 1794-TB2, -TB3, -TB3S, -TB3T, -TB3TS, and -TBN models. These bases provide DIN rail mounting and signal wiring points.

The module’s voltage output supports a 3 mA maximum current load. Its current output drives resistive loads from 15 to 750 Ohms. These ratings ensure compatibility with common field devices.

The unit has a 20 mA Flexbus current rating. It provides 50 Volts of continuous isolation between I/O and the system. This isolation protects your control system from ground loops.
