No, this module requires the high-speed PCI-based backplane of the PACSystems RX3i. It will not function in a standard 90-30 or 90-70 rack.

Can I mix RTDs and Thermocouples on the same module?

Yes, every channel is independent. Therefore, you can configure Channel 1 for a Pt100 RTD and Channel 2 for a Type K thermocouple.

Does the module support Hot Swapping?

Yes, the RX3i platform allows you to replace the IC695ALG600 while the system is under power. This enables maintenance without stopping the process.

What software is required for configuration?

You must use Proficy Machine Edition. This software provides the interface to set the input type, scaling, and digital filtering for each channel.
